When a user's Employment Profile has a leave year that begins in the middle of the calendar year, their leave years span two calendar years. For example if John Doe's Employment Profile has the Leave Start Month as July, then his 2012 Leave Year runs from July 2012 to June 2013. Furthermore, if his activated leave years (configured under Team Profiles) are 2012 and 2013, then he will be able to request leave from July 2012 to June 2014.
**We acknowledge that there is a bug where a user's leave years are changed from one that spans two calendar years to one that spans one calendar year (i.e. January) and if this is the case in your organisation, it shall be fixed, and you will be notified.
