Appogee HR: Managing User Roles

A HR MANAGER can assign the Manager, HR Manager or Admin roles to users.

To grant/assign a role, a HR manager will need to go to go to the user's profile. You can find this section by going to HR manager > Employee Directory > Users.

Please note: you will only see users who have self service enabled here

In the user profile, you will be able to do the following:

  • Team profile change
  • Change email and password
  • Assign/remove security roles
  • Review the audits

Change the user's Team Profile

To change the user's team profile, you will required to go to HR Manager > Employment Profile > Users > ... > Main details

You can make changes to the user's email address and password within the 'Login Details' Tab.

Assign/Remove security roles

Within the 'Security/roles' tab, you can manage which roles you wish to grant a user with. Please see the following article here: ADU Manager, to find the steps on how to assign a user with an ADU manager role.
