Accrual from 1st day of Work
Massachusetts law requires accrual of sick leave (PTO can be substituted) from date of hire. But in Appogee, pro rata options seem designed for allowance, not accrual. An option that simply credits PTO for the entire month (or whatever the selected accrual unit is) of hire would meet our needs, but even when I select “Months remaining from employee start date (inclusive)”, no PTO hours are given until the 1st of the following month. We need PTO hours given in the month of hire.
