Appogee HR: Enabling the Talent Hub Integration

Note: This article applies to customers licensed to use Appogee HR Essentials or Appogee HR Success

Appogee HR offers an integration with LinkedIn's Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Talent Hub. Talent Hub works by matching potential candidates from LinkedIn’s substantial and comprehensive database of users, with job application specifications as entered by Talent Hub users.

Talent Hub allows various types of third party applications to integrate with it to extend its functionality. Appogee HR, as an HRIS, has built an HRIS extension to Talent Hub, which allows hired candidates to be imported directly into Appogee HR.

The integration will first need to be switched on in Talent Hub by a user with the Recruiter Role. It helps if you're already logged into Appogee HR.

Log into LinkedIn, and click on Recruiter in the top right corner to access Talent Hub.

Once logged in, navigate to the settings to switch on the Integrations. Click your user icon in the top right corner, then settings.

Once in settings, click Integrations, under Advanced.

From the integrations page, either scroll to Human Resources Information System, find Appogee HR and click Authorize.

A dialog will appear asking you if you want to confirm, click Authorize.

The page will then redirect to Appogee HR, if you're not logged in, just click the log in page and it will redirect.

You will automatically be directed to the integration page within Appogee HR. To finish the process, click Complete Integration.

Once you have clicked complete integration, the page will redirect you back to Talent Hub and you'll see Appogee HR in the list of Authorized Integrations.

The integration has now been set up, and you can start importing your hires from Talent Hub into Appogee HR.

For details on how to do this, take a look at the following article: Adding Users from Talent Hub.
